Fractures Of Light
Diamonds remember what hands forget —
every touch, every promise set.
Cold they seem, but pressure made them,
time and fire once unafraid them!
So never be the one who starts
a fracture in a diamond’s heart.
For when it breaks, it does not cry —
it splinters light across the sky!
And every shard will softly gleam
with echoes of what might have been!

Fits together very well Aisha. As Jalāl al-Dīn Muḥammad Rūmī said so many generations ago: " "You wander from room to room hunting for the diamond necklace that is already around your neck!".
