Balance of Peace
When people become righteous,
and say, “I found my peace,”
it’s strange to see.
Assuming they know it all,
belittling your problems,
thinking theirs were worse.
Measuring pain
like a competition of suffering.
It’s strange to see
these unhealed souls,
disheveled people,
still trapped within their own holes,
pointing at others
when they need to look at themselves.
Your life is not about showing you’re a hero.
If you don’t pour into yourself,
what spills out runs unfiltered.
Your scars aren’t bigger than mine,
nor are mine bigger than yours.
Real peace
doesn’t need to be shown;
it’s felt first,
oozing from within
and glowing from the soul.
Not shouted,
not held on a banner
real peace;
is a balance of all attributes.💟
