The kitchen is getting kinda busy
Kids are running wild and dizzy
Momma is in charge that's brill
There are hungry bellies to fill
Eggs are cracked flour and milk flow
The pan is hot and ready let's go

A Crêpes Suzette for some yikes
Fluffy pancakes some folk like
Lemon and sugar strawberries and cream
Bananas and maple syrup It's a dream
Ash Wednesday tomorrow time to fast
For forty days are you going to last
