A Silent Keeper
What does the night feel like
To the ones who are away from home?
Does it resemble a dream
Or does it sound like a song?
Does it bring back a memory
That was tucked away all along?
The night must be treating them
Differently, with utmost care
For them to not drown into
The feeling of being unloved.
The stars must be sounding like guitars,
And the moon must be the cowboy
Singing them to sleep;
The night must be treating them
Differently, with utmost care
For them to always feel
That they are easy to keep.
