As we now leave 2025
Was this a year which we survived?
Was it fantastic or full of trouble?
Did we sail on by or did we struggle?

As we welcome in this brand new year
Let it be one of joy and full of cheer.
And I'd like it to be one of hope
And whatever happens know we'll cope.

And let it not be full of distress
But one in which we shall find success.
And I wish that it shall be our fate
That this new year shall be great.

So whether you are a pauper or a king
Let happiness this new year bring.
And let it be one of truth and not of tricks,
As we welcome in 2026.
