Humans are deuterostomes, which means that when they develop in 
the womb the anus forms before any other opening. Which basically 
means at one point we all were nothing but an a*shole (sit venia verbo!).
And, unfortunately, some people never develop beyond this stage.

Before the mouth, before the eyes can see,
The deuterostome path the womb has shown.
The anus opens first, the primal key,
From this first gate all future form has grown.

The mouth will follow, ears will find their place,
Yet in that first design the truth remains:
Our life begins in such a humble space,
A portal free of pride or learned chains.

And some dwell ever in that early stage,
Their hearts unripe, their minds in infant thrall.
Locked in the origin, they cheat the age,
And never rise beyond that first of all.

So laugh, reflect, and honour nature’s scheme:
All men begin as nothing but an a*shole’s dream.
