Closer To the End.

 

As my time gets closer to the end.

I want to say something to my ex-lover and my friend.

I have prayed every day that we were together.

Wished your love would have been forever.

Till a natural death with you by my side,

And all my fears and worthlessness behind you I hide.

The pain and hurt just gets worse every day.

All your feelings gone, and you have nothing kind to say.

I am now just a distant thing in the past.

With you wishing the memory of us does not last.

I can only say for all that I did.

I hope one day in your heart you will forgive.

The man I am today is not the man I am.

Where it all went wrong, I still do not understand.

I have loved and will love till my dying breath.

Thou sadly, for me you have nothing left.

Darling, I wish you well on your journey in life.

I hope it's filled with happiness and smiles.

So, with a heart full of sadness and tears in my eyes.
