Conversation with a Nymph

entry picture

Heights, bytes and meteorites

Of it had wrecked my heart and soul,

Taking it all to the dumping abyss so big

That’d take the ship down and leave no twig.

A nymph appears on top of a tall tidal wave.

She looks me in the eyes; my youth’s demise,

She hears my inner voice of whale-like cries –

Burst this bubble with your pointed dart,

Get me off this melancholia and catatonia,

To a brighter world filled with pure euphoria.

Give me my mysteries and perplexities back,

Give me back my worldly questionnaires' stack,

Take me back to the state of inquisitiveness

To seek answers and discover the untouched wilderness.

◄ The Ceiling Seemed Like a Sea-Link.

A Bee's Deleterious Dream. ►

Nymphs have that effect I guess, Kevin. I'm glad that you liked the poem. 😁

Okay, this Nymph kept a coming-back. I just can't believe it. Never had that with a Write-Out-Loud poem before.

I guess it's a Sirenade? I'm afraid I'm captivated. LOL

Fabulously inventive, Manish. A cry from the soul we must all feel, at some level.
