Tornadic Touch of Love

entry picture

The sky and the ocean watched each other

From a distant mile of spheres away,

They often spoke through their glittery eyes,

Or otherwise, through their vast canvasses -

The ocean portrayed her flows and flaws

Of waves, high tides, dolphins and blue whales,

While the sky showcased his highs and lows

From sunsets to sunrise and stars to constellation.

They were eager to meet and greet love someday,

Their yearn, thirst and lust were longing with delays,

Mostly considering the earthly lives and human salvation,

Eventually letting their prolonged wait drip into starvation.

The in-between aerial and aquatic postmen were accurately

Dropping and picking up love from mellow sky to below tide.

Years later, when the humans crossed industrialization limits,

Betraying the earthly trust, earth chose to thrust equally well.

One fine day, the warm moisturized air collided

And colluded with the cold dry air, supported by

Updraught uneven winds and staggering grey clouds,

Allowing the sky to extend his long whirlwind hand

To finally caress his love without any atmospheric glove,

She gently closed her eyes in return, surrendering to love.

His intimate touch brooded a tormented tornado,

As the humans watched their destruction in awe.

Thank you so much Grace, Keith and Kevin. It means a lot to me.🌻
Kevin, I have heard to the song earlier and it is one of my favorite French music-video. Even after 9 years of it's release, it still tops my playlist.🎶

Reminds me of the music-video Dernière Danse by Indila. If you're into French culture (which I know you are), you want to see it 😃

A poem drenched in a language rich and expressive. It was like eating an exotic dessert. I was compelled to read it three times. I don't often do this.
Well done and thank you,
