We have lost who we are

We have lost our identity All because of our intrepidity We failed to adapt Then inturn decided to adopt We forgot who we are And why we are Now we need a lecture To heed to our culture A tree needs roots To stand and produce fruits So who are we without our roots? What kind of a people are we without a culture? We need to own ourculture before we are forced to mourn it We need to live and strive Before we are stuck in the dark For it is not dubious that soon we will fall into a timorous tragedy of spurious identity Now somebody please elucidate Why we have to commutate our values as a people for a new identity
