Is there a part of me

that doesn't know it

yet - somewhere up

in the ionoshere - a

cell of skin perhaps

a remembered scent,

hell bent on hanging

around and looking

backwards to the earth

and smiling says 'Oh

Yes' that's where once

we played as kids -

grew older, before we

sat back and watched

witnessing the youngsters

leaping over all the assault

courses just as we did back

then, when the air seemed

much fresher and the drowsy

buzzing of the bees took me

to a newer level of what is

sometimes called in thinking

terms transendental thoughts

before baulking at some of the

more challenging beliefs but

rising above the obstacles and

reflecting on how serendipity is

often more than happenstance

Thank you Shifa, Paul and Dawn, for the Likes and kind comments - so appreciated as well as supportive of my ideas.

I suppose we may liken our various microscopic parts as space junk in a rather strange way, which has regained some form of intelligent life.

The film makers worked on this idea many years ago when they produced films about embalmed Mummies coming back to life.

My thanks also to the 2 Steve's, and the one Stephen for kindly adding a Like to my writing.

Much appreciated.

"...serendipity is often more than happenstance." What a profound line, and a profound poetry altogether! Well done.

Crumbs P, what a sojourn this epic poem is mate.

It would take me a whole treatise to give a full critique of this.

Suffice to say, It says it all old friend.

I love the suggestiveness (if that's a word) of your piece. And I loved the "cell of skin" - the part of you that may forever be a part of the system of life and then later in the piece, the cycle of life. And I very much liked your last lines... cuts down into a different level apart from thought and into spirit.
