The Phoenix Flame

In a little souvenir shop in Arizona

You wove your magic dreams into my soul

Stirring up a deeper sense of life

Ran the desert like a sea of ancient times

I bought a little handbook about dinosaurs

It hugged my inner child with earthly wonder

We walked across the dam and bridged the gap with long ago

You said: one day you'll need appreciation

The sun rose over the Canyons

Every epic memory rose over the Canyons

And in one day all heartache was completely swept away

When you stayed in love despite all the hatred

Heaven and Earth celebrated and carried us home, from the holy promise of Dubai

Inside the sacred ecstatic myst of Teh'ran into the furiously beating golden heart of Allah in Makkah

I had my whole life turned upside down in Dubai.

Good use of rhyme Kev.

Keep fanning those flames, my friend.

Paul.
