The bells🔔🔔

entry picture

Can you hear these bells ringing

And the voices exchanging vows

Those walking up the aisles

Graciousness flowing down

The wreathes and crowns over their brow

All the excitement in the crowd

And the witnesses two standing nearby

As the priest seeks approval from the maiden fair

The groom smiles shyly hearing her hushed  voice

And so the rituals and ceremony begins today

An evening beautifully studded with glistening stars

With love silently precious within their cozy hearts

Murmurs of their pulse and beats grows really loud

The fragrant flowers and the aromatic herbs

With deliciously prepared food and desserts

Guests feel honoured and a lively audience make

This evening goes down in a beautiful history

Entwining the loving souls as one till eternity

This brings back memories of many happy weddings I have attended - including my own!
