The Passing of time.

A poet and friend of mine inspired me to write this piece by his beautiful poem ‘Days Defined.’   About Cancer and the NHS.

I dedicate this to ‘I’m not a poet’ and the NHS.

The Passing of time.

Treat your family, lovers, friends, shop keepers, strangers as if today was their last day. For tomorrow it may be, for sure for some, it will be.

When we treat our partners and lovers, those we love as if this was true, it is most unlikely that they will leave us.

Knowing that death cannot sever your union and bond is a secure peace of mind. However, when our love has moved on and gone before us, it is still a sad and bitter passing.

Reconcile yourself to this ‘today’… Say ‘now’ the things you left unsaid before that briefest moment. Knowing this passing of time lasts for some, all of their life.

Paul.

Paul sound advice indeed_ treat each day as though it were your last.

That way one lives life to the full and one learns to cherish people round them.

Tomorrow inevitably will never happen.
