Bottles and Lockets

She said,

I wish I could bottle this.

He asked,

What would you do with it?

She replied,

I would put it in a locket

And wear it around my neck

And any time I felt darkness

     I would open it

     And I would never question

     Anything in this life again

Because there would always be light.

But she couldn't bottle it,

So instead

She stored it in her soul,

And she never questioned anything again.
