Drew

I bumped into a young gay man today,

He did not recognise me, but I remembered him,

So tired of these, games,

The masks they wear,

I associate them with the corona virus thing now,

But we all wear mask dont  we,

The roles we play,

And he hides not he is gay,

No need too,

A different generation now,

I tell him of a friend we both know,

Alone in the dark,

Weeping at my kitchen table,

But I couldn't take the pain anymore,

Her pain,

SO I closed my eyes,

Imagned us both in Spain,

All these thought running through my head,

I'm alive oh so allive today,

THE curtain draw, I remember Drew loving my eyelashes, I want some more, patience in my life,

I'm stubborn and proud xx
