Alan
You were there,
You helped,
Held her hand,
Helped her father,
In this midst of war and honour,
Amongst men,
You were a hero that day,
Just a stranger passing by,
Retreat if you must,
Gather your strength,
But in my opinion,
You are a hero amongst men,
If you want to sculpt to ease the pain then do so,
I know she loves you,
Of a fashion,
She pretends not to,
For that my dear is her way,
You've forgotten,
I've known her a lot longer, and we were and are,
Sister's of a fashion.
I don't know what else to say,
Only rest,
Be at peace,
As I hope the little girl,
Innocently riding her scooter in the park,
That afternoon is,
Blessed be xxx
