BUCKING OFF

Nora was hefty, as

big as a house, she

relished her fodder

and stale Brussels

adored her and waved

as she passed – then

foal on the grass –

in a field by the wield.

who fathered the yield

Neddy sows oats when

he’s lowered from trucks

but now he just frolics

and snorts as he bucks
