Moongirl. Burns

The flames of life burnt me long

Burning burning till the heat was strong

Flames all around, unbearable heat growing soon

I would swoon, I would burn, I would die

Flames grew larger and flew highest high

Fear enveloped me, was tired fighting the fire

It melted me incredibly, burning every desire

Until I was burnt completely from in and out

I thought nothing of me was left to live about

Slowly the flames started cooling, at first I thought

But later my metal I checked and sought

The flames of life had burnt my ego, pride and evil

Everything that could make a bitter, darker me was burnt out

Like the gold is burnt till its impurities are sorted out

I too kept burning, until all the filth within me burnt out

Now compassion, mercy, humbleness, humility remains

Making me a empath, sympathizer and person with kind trait

Sometimes flames of life aren't bad too seek

It turns a boulder into a bar of gilded bricks

So let the flames do their job, and let God make you what he wants
