Thursday early in my kitchen

a soughing silence.

a ticking clock. no birdsong.

a pregnant waiting.

Love writing/poems that make the reader feel something's going to happen, but they can imagine what. Great stuff.

Don't put yourself down so Rick
Because you're not a Jap

Trying to evoke a mood, a sense, of expectancy - leaving the reader to find their own solution to what's going on.

I once had a handwritten sign, 'STOP IT!' in my window and people would say, 'Is it immigrants?' or 'Is it stop potting windows?' according to their particular mindset.

I always said, "Yep, you've got it."

So this is about anything you think it's about or mebbe it ain't :).

Yeah, okay, I know it's just another haiku - but with all the nonsense swirling around in the media I find it hard to avoid the virus distractions. And if it's good enough for the Japanese I'll give it a try albeit I fall far short 😃
