Biography

I have written poetry over the course of a lifetime, none of it has ever been published, other than on here. I have had a few mororbike articles published, but these were comic articles about the antics of a younger man. still amusing if you like a good laugh. I tend to write spiritually orientated poems most of the time, because that's where I am right now, although I do like to dip my toe into humour every now and again.

Samples

The Celtic WItch She treads so softly in this place A wreath of smiles upon her face Ethereal light shines round her head Her dress itself provides the thread Two wrists are bound and soul entwine Speaks she words of ancient time Her hair falls down a mass of gold A future yet, that will unfold A crystal stone to give and take A bond that distance cannot break Blue her eyes like Ocean deep Yet deeper love, to know and keep In that glade sun shafts fall Light meets dark, her holy hall Leafy bower it is her place Spells cast hither in state of grace

I think it might have been something to do with the male/female relationship and its potential for hurt. I can remember everyone liking it - though Darren picked you up on the fact that waterfalls could only ever cascade down.

You will probably be asked to put up a small bio and a sample poem. The site is trying to flesh out the profiles. If you do put up the last one that I really liked. It had a cascading waterfall in it. x

Sorry chat wasn't working. I love that picture - it kind of sums up life's trials...

I tried googling it for a poem once but couldn't find it on images. Don't delete it this time! xx

Easy the teeth is obviously reflected light from my Halo ;-) the shirt is a bit more mysterious, as I put it in the wash basket dirty, and with some unknown magical force it transitions into my wardrobe spanking clean and white ha ha... Amazing really !! My underpants and socks do it too ha ha... which is even more amazing because they didn,t when I was an apprentice ha ha...

I'll translate - she's glad you're back - as is Winston, who spends much time watching the to-ing and fro-ing on the WOL bus of life.
