I scribble poetry and get lost in the world of Tagore's songs.🌼

Baffled Blues I was once in an old cottage Whose worn-out walls pregnant with stories Made home for the scurry sparrows And cobwebs spread with mammoth occupation Gleaming as golden threads in the immaculate sunrays – In the empty room, ah not to be called void, But with incomplete whims. Anguished mute voices echoing mellifluously From the dusty tanpura The forgotten strings still carry the torch For their absent woe-begone master; The air is heavy in there – Some suppressed tears of morose shed there Had left flecks of unrelated sorrows! Hand-written letters brimmimg In the oak trunk roared from within: Letters unsent, feelings unravelled Ashes of longings and anger iced in block of tears; As I feel my fingers on the dried ink Suffused in pale blue and yellow A sudden tinge of sadness flickers through the veins! A mixed congregation of baffled blues Voices still captured in the hour glass Seeking its escapade through the sullen sands. Dead, yet so viable and awaiting – May be for the replies of the unsent letters All in the turmoil of baffled blues!

I wish there were more hours in a day, or days in a week. I'll try to read more of your work; it deserves it.

In your bio, perhaps a comma after 'too' would make the sentence even more effective. A small point offered with respect, of course.
