Hi Kevin, thanks so much for your lovely comment on The Causeway Between Our Hearts and thanks for sharing you experience too. Those tragic stories are a great source of poetry. Even though you've lost the relationship, you can hopefully mine some wisdom from the experience and turn it into a poem for others to enjoy. This is one of the many great things about writing, in my opinion. Thanks for stopping by anyway. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for you work and will delve back through your posts when I get chance! Cheers, Tom.

Hello Kevin - thanks for the observations on "Knee Jerks".
The word "nationalism" has achieved something of a suspect
reputation, due to the belief that it harbours extreme views that
endorse causing needless offence and indulging in acts of wanton violence. I prefer the word "nationhood". What nation worth the
name doesn't have that sense of self? 😗

Thanks for your comment on my blog Kevin

Keep posting, it is a lonely place for some poets... because they choose to not interact. If you do read and write and read some more I find it works for me... But I do have a lot to say 😉.

I will say that being a Brit, we are a very hard lot to get to know but once you do, you do find we are not as 'offish' as so many portray.
