I've always been an advocate of expressionism and participant be it writing, art, song, dance or theater. Sadly though, I recall having my freedom of expression suffocated by close-minded art and English teachers always telling me I wasn't doing something right. As a result, art and design took a back seat in my life for many years. What did survive was the joy writing brings me. Whether writing two lines or twelve, happy or sad. I love rhyme as it was therapy to get me over a stutter and it seems to pour out of me like wine from a bottle! As far as art goes, I recently began making collages again and am enjoying my freedom! (see photos) All poems and collages posted on this blog have been copyrighted and are pending publication. Thank You!!!
This is me in a poem... Never thinking of the future not really making plans I just follow my heart as I walk throughout the lands I believe in energies they guide me where to go I faithfully follow signs allowing my energies to flow How my journey will end this I do not know All I can do is believe and let my spirit grow ...and that's me, Jane
