Love Defined
Love is not a place It’s a space It’s the door you leave open It’s the things that you do Without leaving a trace Love, it’s a peculiar thing You can’t touch it It leaves no scent But when you feel it It feels heaven sent It’s like the air that you breath You won’t see it But you’ll know When it’s not there Love, fundamental Sometimes ordained Often accidental Love, a peculiar thing With all the joy And the pain That it brings Love It’s a funny old thing It makes my heart break It makes my heart sing Love is a game for fools Love leads some To break all the rules Love, you are cruel You are kind You hold the power Literally To turn me blind Yet you often remind Your enemies - hate and self-doubt To love is peace Love, very deserving Time, worth, and energy The value and giving A heart’s desire ……..Love defined
