Middle aged widow. Have been reading the wonderful poetry on this site for some time and slowly but gradually got the feel as it were for what is required in order to write what I call basic poems . I hope in time to improve but that depends on the feedback.
SamplesOn the porch
ON THE PORCH She in her smallness he in his bigness Daughter and Father sharing the early evenings Summer breeze sharing their wonderments of the beautifully brazen faced stars, So bewitched is she that her heart tells her to describe what she is see's as an ocean of ethereally lingering snowflakes that she hope's will never descend why? asks her Father because she replies, if they did a part of my soul might die her Father lovingly corrects her even if they did fall he says to me you would be here to replace them.
