I am a writer of poetry, fiction, short film and essays from New York City, now living in London. My writing moves in the same realms as Richard Matheson and what he coined as the "supernormal" – a place where what we deem to be supernatural or otherwise impossible in this life is quite real, with real consequences. My influences in literature, academic writing and visual storytelling include Richard Matheson, Anne Rice, James Baldwin, Rod Serling, Joan Didion, Sara Gran, Edgar Allan Poe, Clarissa Pinkola-Estes, Eve Ensler, Angela Carter, Pete Hamill, Steven Millhauser, Chuck Palahniuk, David Fincher, David Lynch, Christopher Nolan, Park Chan-wook, Alfred Hitchcock and Tarsem. The aim of my work is to take the reader or viewer through dark subject matter, showing them that exploring The Shadow is what inevitably gives way to the light of self-fulfilment. My website contains links to the latest performances, samples, and how to check out my new collection, An Endless Procession of Clouds.
