I sell books and board games. New book release February 28th. Support today. So, if you support poetry, if you like what I do, then consider showing it in more ways than a like or two. Special thank you and shout outs to Taylor Crowshaw, Anya, Becky Who, and Jon Stainsby by showing how much poetry means to you! You guys are my A-team and I'll never be ashamed to shout it out! Much thanks to every one of you that participated in and collaborated on my third anthology. I won't forget your contributions, just give me time to rectify any shortcomings I may succumb to and you will all be repaid in time. Shout out to Poemagraphic, for the willingness to collaborate, and hopefully soon we can have some fire and gems for all you loyal readers of poetry. Thank you, John Marks for being the greatest poetic influence I have ever come across - even more so than Neruda himself. You yourself deserve the recognition. Everyone else, February 28 cannot come fast enough. . . (P.S. I add people to my Favorites for great deeds not skills, and that's not saying they don't have skills. I just go by how a person carries themselves on this site. Respect begets respect just as violence begets violence.) ______________________________________________ "The Tyrian Tesseract", releases February 28, 2019. My 3rd official anthology release, and it hosts something amazing within its pages. A veritable defender of G.O.A.T., a nexus of creativity, and possibly the Eighth Wonder of the Known World. Doggerel has never been so fun. The Greatest Tale Never Told . . . This is the best work I've done to date in my entire life, and I want to share this with all of you. No set price as of yet, but I will update this as the days go by. ______________________________________________ Inspired by classic films and concept albums the world over, this book of 40 brand-new poems is also replete with collaborations including ones with Becky Who and John Marks both from Write Out Loud, and many more poets! A woman imprisoned in a place without time or space is manipulated into a horrific situation of no escape. Each poem is a different memory or shard to her existence as she struggles to escape the prison she finds herself in. Like a bird caged until it is set free only to die in the woods later, the story lends itself to a sorrowful conclusion. However, inside the shell of a glum fate and interesting twists and turns lies the soul of something much bigger than ourselves. Chased to the ends of the labyrinth this woman calls a home, things come to a head when she attempts to escape her constant imprisonment and away from the monstrous entities keeping her chained to her bed. Not only do I promise you an unforgettable epic told in successive poetry, but I also promise you the greatest rhymes you will ever hear or read in any piece of writing for the rest of your life - this I swear to you. The woman of this story is ready to meet her allies at the crossroads, so what are you waiting for? Gird your loins and get ready, because IT. IS. ON !!! ((( 02/28/2019 )))

I'm no professor, but I think they are great inspiration to get people to further improve instead of stagnate, as they helped me through similar situations many times. I do not promote any artists but myself, and these are all opinion pieces. Feel free to take a listen and enjoy the tunes while you break from reading poetry. "Last Resort" by Papa Roach

Hello their lord of the words... (hehe)
Can I just say how remarkably well you did ' regarding a certain conversation.. even when your bubbling with anger ' you still hold a very nice tone. I could sense that your words wore offering that certain someone a very rare chance to redeem oneself.. And I too was astonished to see the lack of knowledge that did not sink in.. One track mind's can be hard to associate with but I feel after much growing up he may just take his head out of ones bum hole long enough to see where he went wrong..
We'll done for speaking your mind with great skill once again. I admire your choice of words and im learning a remarkable amount from you.. For this I thank you millions. 😃

unfortunately i am just not
that smart to understand.

I thought you might like this...

Bucket mouth

There was a young poet from Nantucket
Who carried his poems in a bucket
Every now and again
He’d stick is hand in
To randomly grab one, he’d pluck it
Listen to this! He would suddenly shout
To any poor souls wandering about
No need to be so down in the mouth
Pouring poems from his bucket quenching their drought
See that is better, of humour, you’d dried.
With a huge belly laugh, he shat… splitting his sides.

Hi Big Guy

I am thinking about what we do here at WOL.

"Is this 'just' vanity publishing?" the words rattle round my head.
I'm certain that for a few it could be... after all its easier to type than to speak.

How we dress, how we look, tiny, medium or large.
The rhyme for me is the hook.

I am a Leo, with Scorpio rising centre stage I'm happy to be. In the public eye I'll never decry, that by now I'm certain you see.

This comment on your profile typed at the start of a very exciting year.
I am posting simply to let you know
Big Guy I'm so glad you are here.

Thanks for reading and commenting

Hi Big Sal. I wanted to say I noted your brief and valuable comment on Letter from the Streets. I sensed a support in it, which I felt the poem needed after the slagheap of views on offer. Does that sound bitter? I hope so. There should always be a little humility here as well as strong ideas, that way it works, otherwise it is a slanging contest.

Have a good new year!

that poem was not specifically about Crows
but I do know they are very intelligent and great problem-solvers. in fact Crows can write better poetry than I can.

my wife shot at me one time. luckily she missed.
my neighbor was upset. the stray bullet ended up
on his TV tray.

Tue 18th Dec 2018 16:37

Thanks Big Sal.
May I just call you Big?
if you would allow
that would be big of you.

Hello Big Sal

Thanks for your kind words on my attempts at poetry. Hope you have a fantastic Christmas.

Mon 17th Dec 2018 23:36

Hi Big Guy
First off my friend, I must thank you for introducing me to elPintor. Following your advice I wasted no time in looking up the names you propounded.

'Heosphoros' was an introduction to another dimension of poetry. So often I feel the lines between ‘love and light’ good and evil are indivisible.

Angels of darkness are, all too often given a bad press. Lucifer was a rebellious soul but the hypocritical Christians have done far worse things here than any angels of darkness could do in our corporal world.

Was/is Lucifer the ‘The light bringer’? Good, evil, dark, light… It’s all a matter of perspective in my books.

I have an extensive library of esoteric books. .They are indeed arcane and mysterious.

If I committed a serious crime the ‘press’ sic. Would have an absolute field day making it known that I had huge collection of occult books and was a devil worshiper.

This ‘fact’ in reality could not be further from the truth. It would be a true statement in one sense of the word and also an utter lie…

It would peek the ‘imagination’ of many a reader and sell papers.

I have a strong secular conviction, as many of the topics and subjects of my poetry will portray.

However it would also be true to say I have absolute proof positive that I have conversed with realms outside of most people’s knowledge and certainly their current believe and understanding (religious or otherwise)

Truly, I am an impiety and a believer an oxy-moron indeed.

I always respect your comments and am grateful for your insight and often the historical content that adds depth to the subject matter.

In my book (yet to be published to this world) Poetry is a ‘medium’ (excuse the pun here) to enter the realms unseen and transmute the esoteric to exoteric.

Blessed be
