Write Out Loud’s Poem of the Month for March is ‘Skylark on the meadow’ by David RL Moore. This lyrical poem talks of daydreaming of “summers turned and gone”, and has been praised for its mastery of rhyme. Among the comments, one fellow poet said it reminded him of Sunday childhood jaunts, picnicking in a field on the moors.
