Write Out Loud Northumberland on Zoom is an online open-mic event, usually held on the second Wednesday of each month, starting at 7pm. We're an exclectic mix of poets, with the north-east and the south strongly represented, but anyone from anywhere is welcome. Email compere Greg Freeman at gregfreem62@gmail.com if you'd like to book a five-minute slot. Log-in details usually sent out the weekend before.

Write Out Loud Northumberland on Zoom is looking forward to welcoming Heather Moulson as our guest poet on Wednesday 8 July. Heather is a familiar face at our open-mic event – and she has a new pamphlet out, titled Slummy Mummy! Heather has been a part of Poetry Performance open-mic night in Teddington since it was founded in 2017. She has performed at Morecambe and Nottingham poetry festivals, was a winner of the Brian Dempsey Memorial award 2019 and has been longlisted for the Roger McGough and Dempsey & Windle summer competitions Heather is also one third of the popular Booming Lovelies, who are regular performers in London and Surrey. Her pamphlet, Bunty, I Miss You, was published in 2019. Slummy Mummy is her second publication.
