Trees
As the world kept turning and turning
The trees whispered the summer heat into our bodies
Somewhere along the way
We became them
The lotus, the butterfly, the bees
Consumed us as if to say
I give you life.

An exquisite desire to touch her soul beneath her skin.

The insatiable urge to drive to her house and press my lips against hers at 2am.

Moon
I carried the moon until the salt burned, my eyes.
Before placing it at her feet.
I allowed the Liquid Metal to enter my veins.
With every mineral and piece of debris,
