Old pigeon news / the nowhere poems

She gave so little,

towards the

end of our

relationship.

I felt like a pigeon,

you know the kind

the ones in her

kalidescope life that all

look alike,

all at the park

begging for

scraps.

scraps of

her time,

scraps of

her emotions

scraps of

her life.

it is a

sad reality

A fisher of men / the nowhere poems

Stumbling like

a old fool drunk.

Submerged in

her  smile,

barely keeping breath.

I am a goner...

she is a fisher

of men,

not like Jesus

or peter or paul.

black-eyed Susie

with a club and

a hook and a reel.

she will

chop you up

and spit

you out,

and leave you

bloodied and

lied to from

the start.

A pirates pieces / the nowhere poems

She lined her

deep pockets with

my poems

and muse to her,

she took my heart

like a bandit

rummaging through

a pirates vessels

hold.

nothing of

value to be left

behind,

anything of

feeling to

be scrapped

bare to the bones,

and then left

dead under

this white hot

lover's sun.

The laughing of still places/the nowhere poems

Trapped

inside

the moon

and looking

out,

but now

with nothing

to wish

upon.

the leaves

of dead

trees lie

black,

like the

devil color of

of flies

that now

my heart.

The marriage poems 1

25 years on

but a

moment,

the bonding

and nurturing

of two hearts

as one,

the fitting

and casting

of two

pieces of

clay

in God's

hands,

to form

the perfect

union of

heaven

and earth

in our

souls.

and the

words

"my wife"

I speak in

reverence,

and in

God's ears

I whisper
