And indeed,
the seasons will shift once again,
Yet,
that one autumn leaf,
will hold onto the branch,
with all its might,

to carry it away.

Dear Lord of mercy and order,
You who shaped the constellations
and placed every heart upon its rightful path—
hear me.
You have destined me a man,
steady as an oak,
a harbor built for my future.
In him, I find peace,
honor, and the promise of a home.

a crown of thorns upon your head.
