A sort of remembrance

No foot marks in the sand
To mark my passage.
No disturbance in the air.
I cry and grieve and cherish
My face immobile, as I stare
Out at stormy autumn.
O! living through November
Demands a certain flair.
Foggy bafflements afflict me everywhere,
Pea-soupers some might say,
And as I gaze beyond the moon
I swoon into another dismal November  day.

He passed me on a corner

In a car he clearly didn’t own!

Or was he a founding member

Beauty

What is beauty?

When I call upon the beautiful,

what am I summoning?

Not physical symmetry,

not physical perfection,

not that gorgeous look

of the put-together body,

the lovely home,

the splendid garden.

No, all that is fine & wonderful to admire of course,

but beauty,

that true beauty,

that lifts the stars to the sky

& carries the seeds into the ground,

I answered,"They should be,they cost me nine  and a half grand!"

In those halcyon days of public executions hanging people was a bit of a hit-and-miss affair.  The “science” of determining the drop needed, based on the height and weight of the condemned man or woman, was at best rudimentary and at worse not used. Love is Strange

Love is a strange thing isn't it. Many got blessed by the love as it transformed their lives picking them up from bottom and taking them to the heights of the sky. And for some its a curse that only put sorrow and misery in their lives.

By every mistake a man made and woman forgives just adds ...

Why do we have music?
How and why does it affect us?
It is a great and special art,
Which surely does connect us.

Why do we have music?
Is it to exult our souls?
It may bring us cheer and joy,
And make us feel whole.

Why do we have music?
Perhaps to give us a nice feeling?
And it's a universal language,
Which is lovely and appealing.
