that moment is so golden

You are the silence between breaths, that moment that encompasses every potential

Where I’m not only questioning and I’m not just knowing, I'm filling every space in between.

You are the strings that tie my heart down, keeping it from flying away with every little joy.

Fuck you bring me such joy!

Joyous flights of ecstasy in your hugs.

And when I hear you say you need me as much as ...

Polyester Fluorescent Workwear?

If things were so spun that I
dressed my lady I'd gaze on an Aztec princess.
A summer's warmth her eyes radiate! Jade and gold
catch the light. Charms and tokens of love
sparkle in earnest. Silks and feathers shimmer;
bring motion to emotion in my view.
For my life as backdrop I am ecstatic.
This is the picture to die for.

Better for my soul

Days have gone till I've felt something strange,
would I feel like that again?
Will my life be with the sweetness I haven't known yet?
One can do so much,
one can feel too much.
I admit I ache for something,
something unknown.
One thing is for certain,
I might feel it again.
Might not be the same,
maybe more...
Better of this ache,
better for my soul.

Time

Time heals

tends to peel away the pain

calms your brain

stops you from going insane

takes the rain and turns it into sunshine.

If you give it time your world will grow

beautiful flowers

provide long hours

of joy.

Your Tune.

In the creases of a crumpled T-shirt,
the darkening orbit of an orange pasta stain,
the unhinged playfulness of bright and living eyes…
the golden curls like mazes of cornfields – no way out –
The type you just want to twist around your finger –
I noticed you.
In the unrestrained laughter,
I would recall each word that tumbled from your lips
And hang on them, swing from them,
like branche...

2 birds

Twas on this night in '80

I met 2 birds a tweeting

A fateful day for maybe three

Cos these birds have been perched by me ever since

Party, party I heard in a noisy pub

Me and my mate looked at each other with in for a penny smiles

So there we were in a packed flat just near by

One room to drink, one room to dance, one room to, well it was dark

First date so just rooms 1 a...

37 years

37 years is quite some thing

Medals all round some would say

To meet and travel so far

Takes love, attraction, laughter

Who knows when you first meet

What lies ahead, how hearts will forge

To look back with smiles and happiness

To look now and still see love shine

To look forwards and still want more

Cariad

Cariad

A word of the heart

Born deep in the being,

            resonant with the land's love

Cariad

A word for the soul

Harmonic with soft timbre,

            warmed on heart's ember

Cariad

A word from the deep

Breathed only in love -

            impossible to deny

Cariad

A word never of the brain

Soft spoke; heart's heat

No love in return

Imagine being trapped in a puddle,

The ice froze over the top a long time ago and no matter how hard you try, you cannot break it.

Every time it thaws a little, the cold that follows sets the water harder than before.

Swimming to the surface never gets easier,

You give up,

But never for long. You swim harder each time but the glass-like ceiling is never gone.

The hand that onc...

Pale faced love

My little pale faced love

Pixie now for you or closer

Hang on in there, it's proof it's working

This is just a sign of the clock ticking

Ticking away the days to full health

Full recovery no less my lovely, you'll see

The pest shrinking daily for others to catch

Trust in their judgement and hold my hand tight

You'll be free soon my lovely, just you wait and see

Confessions Of The Broken Hearted

Took you deep inside my tangled body where no ones ever been,

Let you run away when times got thin, and escape when I needed you

Late at night I throw up all the lies you feed me in the day and lay in a puddle of my own stupidity.

Its never been easy, its always been hard, to love you

I love you unconditionally, even when your words show no emotion, and your actions no care, I love you...

Captured

Dear child,
Those moments when
Such wondering
Never came to
Visit your home,
Do you recall?

How about those
Looking into
A stranger's eyes
Nothing to ask
But not empty
But purity?

Welcoming the
Afternoon breeze
Brushing through
Your hair, your face
Freeing your hands
Onto each breath?

You remember?
Listening to
Every word they
Utter and ask
Say and demand,
Fulfilled ea...

Time

I want my little girl back

Back from the woes and worries she holds

Back to the days of freedom and fun

When we could wake carefree and calm and cuddling

Time will get us there, but it will take time

But time we have and time we've had

Deep memories of times to cherish and nourish

Forward looking of times to come

When our lives will have peace and the world can stop churnin...

Time goes on

The world does too

Our Nature grows and dies

Our technology expands and flies

We manifest and destroy

To make ends meet

Even with passing days

We forget about the increasing heat

Or the decreasing ice sheets

Nothing seems important

To global tyrants and corporations

But money and power

At the cost of decreasing our showers

We accept it whic...

Love Begins At Fifty

It happens we meet late in life

The suspicion is an onside Sun leaned in
a few paces closer this day,
ensuring our faces glisten
in a good light- how could we say?

We are without claws to catch the promise

Certainly we may
refer to a spectacular blue sky,
as all clouds are urgently called away,
should passing juggernauts threaten
the suggestion of a grey day.

Basking in our c...
