Ignorance is bliss

So I guess that they've imprisoned us into this predetermined preposition

When the truth is there so blatantly but we can't help but not to listen

Because ignorance is bliss so we'll stay blissfully unaware

As to the GMO's in all our food and the geo engineering in the air

I suppose we'll go organic and refuse the water from the tap

How can I tell her that I love her?

How can I show her my true feelings?

If the words “I Love You” are dwarfed compared to what I feel.

Not even all the jewelry and roses of the world could equal her beauty.

How can I describe to her?

That every time I see her my surroundings cancel out.

She is my center of attention,

That for her my heart aggressively pounds.

The music begins again.
You wallflowers who came
with the dance in mind
and empty hands to hold—
skulking along the fringe,
afraid to join in,
but more afraid to leave.
She comes.

You wither at her gaze,
hoping, not hoping
she is looking at you;
Would it mean more?
A joke, a fluke, a trick,
or perhaps a friend—
If you don’t see

Wallflower dancer

Stranger on the Bridge

I’m a stranger on the bridge
above the sleeping city
a sea of lights below

I’m a stranger on the bridge

I’m a stranger on the bridge
passed by cars of families
slipping back to glowing homes

I’m a stranger on the bridge
a road between these worlds
fleeing fast from helplessness

I’m a stranger on the bridge
no fami...

Along the long and winding road

You’ll reach a spot where paths will cross

There you know not where to go

For either leads to unfamiliar ground

You’ll never know where they may lead

Unless you choose to follow it

But know that you may never know

Where the other could have taken you.

Uncertainty is a burden,

Indecision is a hindrance,

Tell me all my options,

Fuck me with your influence.

I woke up late for life again,

I know what I want,

The easy way in,

The games have since began.

Will my life culminate besides,

Horchata or pinstripe suits and ties.

Progressive paralysis

entry picture

The smite of real life

Crashing from the skies.

I became paralyzed,

Unable to progress.

I begged for the heaven sent,

One linguistic instrument.

The vibrant mind

Will not find time

To absorb line after line.

Exams are just observing me,

Seventeen and in nursery!

Unwelcome at university.

Judgement day arrives.

And then b...
