No one else gets off at this stop
No one else gets on
The carriage is empty but
The lights still flicker on
Rows of empty seats collide
As it rocks from side to side
And in the silence of these walls
Peace is found from outside wars
The automated voice calls
Next stop is mine
But I don’t want to leave these walls
It’s better than outside
But the train has stopped and the brakes are on
...
