Entry: Free
Open Mic Event
Zeeba Ansari leads a very welcoming and supportive poetry group.
The groups are for anyone with an interest in poetry; the aim is to introduce people to a range of different poets, and to discuss their work informally and enjoyably. Many of the participants write poetry; each month Zeeba suggests a different (optional) theme to write on. Participants bring their work to the group to share and discuss it, although it's not necessary to write poetry to come along.
Please Note there are two regular Poetry Workshops one on the first Monday of the Month and the other on the third Thursday - check this gig guide for more details about each.
