I AM ALIVE

I will consume the intoxication of your words and feel the drum beat of this heart

Let music’s blending seep to my very core

Bursting forth into an energy force of its own creation

Give me no promises, just this day to savour,

touch and feel.

That from this cup of nectar I will drink my fill, to taste the wonders when ears do listen and eyes do see.

This day is mine to hold….mine to cherish

This life….this joy….that I shall burst asunder

With the happiness that is mine

FOR I AM ALIVE

These words sound like a good mantra:
