Banksy

mind games

Monday 13th June 2011 10:46 pm

it rained sweet solace this afternoon

gave me permission to do nothing

 - no guilt –

I can sip tea & read the Sunday papers

with nothing better to be done

I can doze

I can daydream

of when I used to smoke cigarettes

and invent alternative endings

to many a romance

and try to remember their names

their names, their names......

I like the lazy idling dreamy nature of this...right down to those last few lines
