Biography

I get an incredible buzz from writing poetry, prose, monologues, sketches and short stories. I have just recently begun posting musings on Helium.
I'm based at the centre of the cosmos..Bolton of course! I just love the written word, how it unlocks who we are, who we might appear to be and of course who we would love to be!

U

This is not a bed, this is an alter
The place where my alter ego was born
Wrapped and rapt in your love
These are not walls
They are silent witnesses at this chapel of love
Where a heart ached with joy
And peace was forever discovered and held tight
These are not sheets
They are the robes of a goddess
Discarded in the throes of love
Drenched with passion
Writhing in a red heap on the floor
This was not an encounter
It is the very stuff we are born for
The wellspring of passion
An offering of pure love

Pore into me

When I entered the room
The light was off
And you were on
The bulb was dead
You just shone
Radiant
Within the filament
The firmament
Flickering flame
Of your heart
Surrounded by words
Of pure art
You fold me
Onto the bed
Lying there
Laying in wait
I enfold you
Not knowing
What to do
Simply hold you
Adore you
Absorb you
Bore into you
Enter every pore
Of you
Become you
The core you
Just to pour you
Into me

Bleedin’ Xmas

Posted on Saturday 27th December 2008 11:33 pm

The bleedin’ relations are at the door

The bleedin’ wrapping paper’s

Strewn about the floor

The bleedin’ cat’s tactically restrained

In cling wrap

The bleedin’ dog’s drinking barrel cider

Coolin’ in the bog

The bleedin’ turkeys in the bin

The bleedin’ smoke detector’s

Makin a f***** din

The bleedin’ trees down on the floor

The bleedin’ baubles lie crushed

Beneath the door

The bleedin’ roasters have all turned black

The bleedin’ stuffin’s in the cat

The bleedin’ sprouts are desiccated

My f***** Xmas is dessimated

The I Think Your Sexy poem would make good lyrics to a rap song...

Dear Moira,

Thank you for your comment on my poem, A Light Ahead.

It is indeed a gift to dream and within the dream, a gift to write, and no matter what, we need to keep that dream alight.

I hope that you will do the same. :)

Take care. :)

Zuzanna I Can 'hear' the accent in your voice. Where in europe are you descended from? To sound your origins as a fingerprint is the magic of our identity. Think the site is great and the community very enlivening and supportive.

There is a strong spiritual attunedness in your writing which I find transporting, lifting.

Delighted to chat with you,

Moira

Hello Moira

Welcome to WOL - beautiful Poetry site. Thank you for the nice comment you wrote for me. I am of European descent but live in Canada for half of my life. Knowledge of few foreign languages makes me speak with an accent that I will perhaps carry on for the rest of my life. Had no opportunity to take an intonation courses in English Literature therefore my accent still falls on different syllables.

It is great to have you with us. Keep penning on; I like the style in your writing.

Kind Regards,
Zuzanna Musial
