Helen Gregory is a published author, performance poet, writer, workshop facilitator, teacher and researcher, based in Bristol, England. She has performed at festivals, theatres, pubs, clubs and pavements around England, America and Japan and has worked with groups such as Paralalia, Ambush Artists and Bristol Funicular. Having cultivated an existence on page as well as stage, she has had her poetry and short stories published in a number of magazines and compilations and released her own volume of poetry ‘Verbatim’ in 2004. In 2007 she brought out her first CD, 'A Metal Plate in a Microwave'. Helen has also had her work aired over the internet and the airwaves. She is the Artistic Director for Bristol's longest running poetry and music open mic. night 'Acoustic Night' (www.acousticnight.com). She is available for any interesting commissions, performances or workshops.
